ACCA paper P4 is the first part of the Options Level, the last of the whole ACCA course. ACCA P4 delivers crucial information on Advanced Financial Management. It prepares you for the possible position of a senior executive manager with the special emphasis on the process of managerial decision-making.
The major skills, which are required from an ACCA P4 course student, lie in the sphere of synthesis and evaluation, although other layers of soft and hard skills may be examined. ACCA P4 notes are designed to provide knowledge for the following issues:
- A – senior executive manager and advisor: their role in the corporate life and settling disputes between stakeholders;
- B – multinational corporations in the macroeconomic environment and their financial management;
- C – analysis of decisions on investments and their international and domestic impact;
- D – study of mergers and acquisitions;
- E – reorganization and restructuring strategies;
- F – study of risk management principles;
- G – dealing with issues in the spheres of financial management and finance.
ACCA paper P4 can be studied at the ACCA directories or by the Approved Learning Partner(s) content. Besides it, ACCA P4 notes can be studied at ACCA seminars and other organized events, where any student can be introduced to the professional accounting.
As the part of the Options level ACCA P4 exam consists of two sections, the questions of which are to be answered within three hours. The first A section contains two questions and the pass mark here is 50-70. The second B part of ACCA P4 consists of two or three questions (at the student’s choice), with total marks of 30 to 50.
